Meet Kate Donohoe: Owner and Creator of all items

Loopy Needles was born in April 2013 and founded by Kate Donohoe. Our mission is to make fun knitted and crocheted items, with a "Loopy" twist.

 

Kate has a wealth of experience with knitting and crochet, having being taught how to knit by her Mum and learning crochet at an after-school club in the early 1980's.

 

She has already sent many of her creations to customers all over the world, has made appearances on live TV demonstrating crochet and knitting, designs patterns for companies globally, founded and owns a fabulous pop-up shop in her home town, and is rarely seen without a crochet hook or ball of yarn close by...
